巴通社东京7月2日电 巴基斯坦外交部长比拉瓦尔·布托·扎尔达里周日与散居海外的巴基斯坦人和知名日本公司的高管举行了会议，并讨论了与巴基斯坦的投资和贸易前景。
他在推特上写道：“看到巴基斯坦在日本的活跃侨民为加强两国关系做出了贡献，这让人感到欣慰。今天，我会见了日本的一些代表，就扩大我们与日本的双边关系，特别是在商业和贸易方面的关系交换了意见。
他声明在访问日本期间，我还在一个招待会上与日本知名公司的高管进行了互动。看到巴基斯坦和日本渴望在贸易、农业、技术、教育、熟练劳动力、清洁能源和灾害管理等不同领域释放潜力，这是令人鼓舞的。
外长还会见了日本国际协力机构(JICA)和日本对外贸易组织(JETRO)的代表，讨论了共同感兴趣的问题。
